------Newburyport South, Ma-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A serpentine fieldstone wall provides separation between an upper bluestone terrace and lower lawn at this Newburyport home. The terminus of the wall wraps a tucked-away seating area, whose focus is a Japanese sculpture, surrounded by ferns and white roses. At the front of the home, a new car park, intricately detailed with brick and granite banding, helps ground the home into the history of High Road, the main thoroughfare through town. A new fence and plantings help provide a feeling of separation to the home, with its narrow setback, while improving the curb appeal.
