The homeowners of this residence in Winchester, MA were looking to renovate an existing pool, create a safe and enticing space for entertaining, and provide some much needed curb appeal. A new farmer’s porch redirects attention away from a side door and to the main entrance of the home. In the rear, a new deck, patio and seat wall provide ample space for entertaining, while grading adjustments and redefinition of an existing tree line provide ample space for play for the owner’s young and growing family. Plantings, comprised of both native woodland species at the grand lawn edge, and colorful perennial border at the pool, complete this design.
